Virtual world, they say. Virtual home, to be exact. Yes, this is my home in this web world. But I think it's better to say that this blog is virtual mouth. Each word here represents the words that comes out of my mouth. Anything; good news, bad news, opinion, simply everything.
OK, let me introduce myself. My nickname is lambrtz. My teacher in high school gave me the nickname Lamberd. It is an acronym of "Lambe Rada Ndower", that is "Big Lips" in English. Hahahahaha what a teacher :)). Then I removed the e, changed the d into t, and added z. When you see me, you can recognize the trademark of me : my big lips.
At undergraduate level, I studied Electrical Engineering at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, and now I am doing master study (and will possibly do doctoral study) at School of Computer Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. I have many hobbies.
- Programming is one. I am familiar with computer languages such as Java and C/C++. My main interest is Computer Graphics and Artificial Intelligence for computer games.
- Playing music is two. I am able to play guitar, bass guitar, and sing. I listen to many genres of music : metal (thrash metal, black metal, progressive metal), rock (grunge, hair rock, progressive rock, garage rock, some punk, post-punk, British new wave, rock n roll, psychedelic, alternative), pop (easy listening, retro, and indie pop), techno (mainly electronica and 80's techno), jazz (swing, bossa nova, ethnic), dangdut melayu, and world music. Mmm, talking about bands. (Early) Metallica (Dave Mustaine and Cliff Burton's era) is numero uno. Second is Nirvana. Then there is Muse at three. In 4-14 there are Rush, The Beatles, Orkes Pancaran Sinar Petromaks, Sore, Led Zeppelin, Onmyouza, White Shoes & The Couples Company, The Doors, Röyksopp, Hawkwind, and Koes Plus (they are listed not in order).
- Playing video game is three. I like RPG. Final Fantasy Series and Chrono Cross are games I like most.
- Reading, eating, etc etc
What do I write here? Anything I want to write, from my daily activites, opinion, my response to world event, etc etc. Any topics will be, such as computer, music, girl, relationship, religion, politic, art, whatever I want. One of my motto is "Be elegant!", and I want to write as elegant as I could reach. Please note that I may write in Indonesian and English randomly, depends in my mood. Indonesian-related posts will be very likely written in Indonesian.
