Envious, Grateful?

Walking down the alley, saw some undergraduate students.
Seemed very happy, talking each other.
Seemed to enjoy their lives.
And more than that, they have the chance to study at a good and reputable university (Top 500).
Ah, I was so envious…

Then I remembered, about some friends who take their undergraduate studies abroad.
Can you feel that?
The joy of writing in your CV/resume, that you are a graduate from a world class university?

And you know what.
One of the member of my lab had a chance to visit MIT, and to work with people from there.

Again, my supervisor, an Indonesian, graduated from Toudai, a university which high school graduates in Japan compete very hard to enter.
The topmost Asian university, that belongs to the same class as top-tier US universities.

How can I not envy all of them?

Ah….
OK…
Anyway I am here…
I think I need to learn how to be grateful of what I have achieved.
Not many people can go to this level.

BTW, thanks for the laptop.
