people againts the music
ive heard many people say bad things about music that they hate. say boyband’s music, that backstreet boys, n sync and take that. many people dislike them, arguing that they cant sing, and only have good face. ok, their song may be bad, maybe they can not sing, but i dont like to make a black campaign, and dont make some. i still appreciate their efforts, and many people like them.
well i make this post as a response to a comment that was posted by somebody in my environment whose nickname is Dude (you can view the comment here).
his idea sounds like this : "james blunt sucks. if you (me, a male) like him, you must be gay". if i like james blunt’s song, it doesnt mean i like him sexually, ok? i like his song. what he tells in this song is similar with what i’ve experienced, thats why i like the song. i have ever head him playing live, and i like his performance. if you dont like his song, its ok, up 2 you, but your statement that labels me as gay, thats arguable.
nirvana (band in grunge front line) hate GNR (band in hari rock front line), but i dont care. i like nirvana & skid row. scott stapp have a fight with 311. i like creed & 311. i like utada hikaru, chicago, nouvelle vague, extreme, the upstairs, eric clapton, metallica, white shoes & the couples company, sujiwo tejo, sergio mendes, the strokes, the doors, ebiet g ade, etc…
see? im a human, i have complex states. sometimes i feel angry (nirvana themes), sometimes i feel blue (eric clapton themes), sometimes i feel flat (the strokes), sometimes i feel having love problem (thats where all my sad love song collections go to). theres no reason for me to do a black campaign. i wonder why people do that…
i dont like sonic youth, radja, ungu, the ramones, slipknot, etc but i dont make a black campaign. i will say their negative & positive things objectively (as objective as i can) instead. i DON’T say that people who likes these bands are having bad taste. thats their taste, and not in my taste. were different, so what?
oh why do i have to make a confession like this?
even if im gay, what will u do? huh?
